What if being sad makes you happy in a strange, comforting way…🌚

I wouldn't say happy…it's comfortable. Like you've been sad for too long, you're not sure you remember how to feel anything different. I can relate to that.

Yes, creating from joy can feel much harder than creating from pain because we don't trust it.

It feels trivial, so we don't think it can last us or make us whole.

But I love when I create from happiness. It is a beautiful feeling that births beautiful pieces. ❤️

It really is a beautiful process… we should all create more from joy.

Thanks for reading, Angel. ✨🤎

Wow… this is a mind blowing masterpiece from one of the best poets I know myself.

Even for flash fictions, I find that I often tend to inch towards the sad tropes just to be able to leave something memorable behind.

But maybe contentment and joy could be things that help people introspect and find peace with our works.

Thank you for this, Temi. 🧡✨

You know what? I will accept that compliment.🥹✨

There's honestly no evil in turning sadness into art. It is a healthy way to express it but there's so much to be created from the places of joy too.

I think the idea is that "suffering" seems very relatable and so it gains attention quickly but if we do not share joy through art, then what is the essence of creating?

Thank you so much for reading and taking time to leave a comment. 🤎😊✨
